Hi-Rez Studios has revealed that its MOBA game Smite, will be released in North America and Europe on March 25 2014. The game is currently in open beta, and has around 2.5 million registered players. All player progress from open beta will carry over to the game's release.

Hi-Rez has also announced a $100,000 Smite Launch Tournament that will take place on Saturday , March 29, and Sunday, March 30, 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia. The tournament will feature top four European, and North American teams, that qualify from the SMITE Weekly Tournament Series.
