First League of Legends College Opened In China

April 18, 2014 5

League of Legends is serious business. First college specializing in Riot's mega popular MOBA has opened its doors in China. A college for League of Legends, we truly do live in the future.

The college is located in the Songjiang University District of Shanghai, China. There are about seven other universities in the same area, which will help LoL university with recruiting applicants from the student population. But something tells me recruiting enough applicants won't be a problem really.

The university features everything a typical college campus would. There are dorm rooms for those who wish to live on campus, and it has a cafeteria. Classrooms are equipped by AlienWare computers and Razer accessories, not equipment a typical campus would provide, but students will probably somehow manage.

The teaching program will focus on one-on-one instructions, on developing important teamwork and leadership skills in addition to proper gameplay mechanics. The college will hire professional e-sports players, coaches and broadcasters to teach master classes. So who's going to China?
