We have another 4 Dota 2 Beta Keys, read on to see the contest rules.

Hello Gamersbook community and DotA fans! IceFrog and Valve have provided us with another 4 Dota 2 Beta Keys to give away.

After a lot of consideration and many different ideas for the giveaway we have decided on the following.

To become one of the lucky few you'll have to do the following:

Step 1. This one is obvious, create a Gamersbook account, add a profile picture (avatar) and Dota 2 as your game, if you already have one ignore step one.

Step 2. Like our Facebook status, share it and leave a comment containing your Gamersbook Nick, or follow us on Twitter and retweet our tweet. If you don't have Facebook or Twitter account don't sweat it, just ask two of your friends to join Gamersbook and add them as your friends.

Suggest a new feature for our website that would help us become a better place for Dota 2 fans (example - guide builder, tournaments & ladders website, suggestions page for developers etc) - Write only one feature within comment - multiple ideas are not allowed ( Rule: Feature Name - Four Lines of text explaining the idea !) , or suggest a new slogan for our website, the current slogan is Community for Gamers (bland i know :D).

Slogan Suggestion: Gamersbook - The Portal of the Gaming Community

Maybe it isn't the most creative slogan for having some cool combination of words and stuff, but it has something to call the people to enjoy the gamer's community. "The Portal" is what call some attention for a new thing, a new "world". And it already reminds a game; and for the rest of course: "of the Gaming Community" maybe it has yet to say that we are a community, and keep the assurance that is for the gamers. So we have the attention about Gamersbook for: the entrance of a new world of a gaming with a pleasurable and friendly people. Thats a true community.

Ok, here we go.
I am passionate about DotA as could not fail to suggest some kind of poll, in which players could vote in the next heroes to be developed and placed in the game. I know that the amount of heroes is huge so it unfold the point of order that would be launched.

Suggestion - Since this place is called gamersbook I'd really like to see detailed biographies of professional gamers. Well, in general I think detailed information about games/players would seperate this place from others.

I think a great idea would be to have video strategy guides for specified hero play. Not everyone is great at follow typed or text guides.

Honestly a mechanics section really helps new players, I've seen how this can aid people in actually understanding why you do and don't certain builds and items etc. Basically you just do details on dmg types, spell types, armour types, orb types etc, allowing people to see what works best in terms of numbers. Hello, you should invent a guild builder for Dota 2. It would be awesome to share with friends our "ranking ladder" and cooperate with and against other teams. That would be very useful in tournaments and members of each team.

Have an option to be able to log in to the site without having to diverge from the main page. I found this mostly annoying as i am not a user of this site and it took a while. Make it more newb friendly and reduce the amounts of clicks required to comment / login. For eg, when you log from the link above , it takes you to the profile page, whcih is not what i wanted, i wanted to stay on this site to be abple to comment here.

Podcast.

My suggestion would be a podcast of sorts, perhaps a "State of gaming". Always loved, and will love podcasts. Invite some developers/CMs to answer questions in behalf of the community. The site is growing quick and I'm sure you'll have no trouble of inviting someone worthwhile. It will attract a lot of new faces to the site.

Also, many of my friends are great DOTA players, we all wanted to play DOTA 2 but only 1 out of us 12 got a beta key. We really want to play it, we joined alot of contest and giveaways to get one but still no luck. My point is, there are alot of players that wanna play DOTA 2 but aren't able to because it's really hard to get beta keys. Soo if you could like make a site were you could just click an icon and download it for free (without that surveys or ads, honestly does are just a waste of time) me and my friends would be very grateful.
