Producer and Co-Founder of Sucker Punch Studios got Interviewed
More information about the upcoming blockbuster inFamous 2 got revealed
Recently, 4News did an interview with Brian Fleming, co-founder and producer of Sucker Punch Studios. Mr. Fleming answered some interesting questions regarding changes and the new implementations of the long awaited inFamous sequel.
inFamous 2 is, as you all probably know, the continuation of the series created by the Sucker Punch Studios. The sequel introduces some really inventive changes regarding both the main character, as well as the gameplay itself. Brian Fleming was asked to explain certain connections between the player choices that directly influence the reputation, as well as the relations to the side quests and the game ending itself. One of the things that are surely interesting to hear is Brian's opinion regarding the introduction of a cool Mission Editor inspired by Little Big Planet. Another inovation comes to us in form of the karma system, which will be directly affected by the player choices throughout the game, because you'll try to gather as much people as possible to help you in your battle. The main idea behind the Mission Editor is to enable endless missions created by the players themselves, and those missions can then be shared with players all around the world. That does sound like an excellent idea. This was probably introduced as an answer to the evergrowing multiplayer demands. Also one of the topics was obviously the fact that some players didn't have the chance to play the original. Apparently, not playing inFamous is a certain disadvantage, because you'd be able to understand much more of the storyline and the details behind it, together with the ability to import your own success into the sequel. If you aren't going to play inFamous before inFamous 2, there will be an opening scene which will show you some key moments needed to understand and enjoy inFamous 2.
