Carl Jones, Crytek's director of global business development spoke about his vision of the direction in which the gaming industry will progress. By the year of 2015, in terms of hardware advances, both processes and GPU's will open up new possibilities to the developers that currently they are not able to use but will be able to use them in many areas to create most immersive realistic experiences. For example, best example is LA Noire that has amazing character faces, but has downgraded environmental graphics. Now imagine the situation if you were able to enjoy the same quality for both of those areas and many more. This is most likely what will happen in 2015. Everything you currently see in movies, you will be able to see within games in future.

Also Mr. Jones added that in future, best games will be created by the studios that have best possible tools since those tools will make the development of games more efficient.

Lastly he spoke about cloud gaming and he said that the gaming industry is one of those  industries that are left behind and as long the big companies don't improve it, no matter how desperately gaming industry needs it, there is no chance CryEngine games will possibly be streamed.
