As speculated, the new Dead Space will have a cooperative multiplayer mode.

Co-op will be a good thing, but I will still play it single player, its more scary. :D
And then after first time co-op will be fun. :)

I hated those scorpian like creatures tha crawled all over the walls >.<! I hope they add more utility to the other types of guns becasue really out of the choice of guns given I really never switched from the first gun you get and I'd only have to switch when it ran out of ammo. They need to make certain guns do more damage against certain creatures.

Hope this is as scary as DS1... personally, I thought DS1 was more scary than DS2, and the Frostbite engine might add to the scary feel and depth of the game... :D

According to Kotaku EA is planning development of a Dead Space FPS.

But... they already made a kind of Dead Space in FPS... Dead Space Extraction. For the Wii and for PS3 w/PSMove controler. It's just like Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, for Wii.
Yeah it is not an "FPS" as we know but is the same idea. By the way, i enjoy that, making an FPS for Dead Space with original FPS system for classic controls, awesome! I just finished Dead Space 2 yesterday, after some months (no much time to spend, school hard much), and it is awesome, hope for that Dead Space be an FPS Dead Space 3 then!

Im guessing they either forgot that PCs exist or just don't consider the pc gamers stupid enough to churn out more cash for minor content so soon after the game is out.
