Not more than a month ago the Imperial eSports squad brought home a very respectable 2nd place finish from the ReflexGT4 LAN in Amsterdam. In true competitive CoD fashion, they then hastened to make roster changes. It was widely known that Callum 'Swanny' Swan was to leave the Imperial squad after the event, as he was a last minute pickup. However, the boys clearly considered that whilst they were in the business of chopping baggae, they would rid themselves of Adam 'Macca' McNeill too.

The fallen pair were replaced by Kieran 'Sheep' O'Connor and Sam 'Bissell' Bissell, despite much speculation that potential changes were already being considered just after the new line up was announced. As is often the case with Decerto, the rumours proved to be true. It would seem that Richie 'Richie' Atkins and Sam 'Pacino' Walley have been mirin' Sir Alan Sugar a little too much as of late, because they proceeded to get rid of both Kieran and Sam B in favour of Imperial all star Shane 'ShAnE' McKerral and M16 demi-god Callum 'Swanny' Swan.

It could be argued that this is the most familiar Imperial CoD team to date. Richie is Imperial's longest serving CoD player and all the others have served considerable stints under Cpt Chris 'Mellow' Marsh. Although some will be dubious as to how seriously the boys will take their gaming, Richie has assured me that when Callum returns from a holiday in a week and a half's time he will be putting the hours in with a top placement at ECL3 set securely in the teams sights.

Richie offered the me a statement with regards to the new team:

"Swanny, Richie, Pacino, Shane 4 names that will be echoed through eternity. Glad to have our dominant reflex roster back together bar Eminem (Macca). Shane literally cannot not be in Imperial so it was my duty to bring him back in. Swanny, one of the greatest assault players since Bob Lee Swagger has joined back after a brief absense. Good luck to kieran in his future ventures. Chris Marsh had a dream that is Decerto, this is not it! this is not it!" Callum followed with a comment of his own:

"Gentlemen, fans, Celine. Imperial will always have a place in my heart. Aside from the laid back attitude, slightly above average skill level and comradeship of my companions, what really attracted me to Imperial eSports was Chris Marsh. A strapping gent; standing at 6,3", built like a brick shithouse and dedicated to the scene...what a fine fucking inspiration to us all. Cometh the hour, cometh the Swan. We mortals are but shadows and dust Maximus; Shadows and dust. (Shoutout to NN)"
