The Beyond Gaming Bloodline Champions Qualifier Round #4 went down on May 28th, 2011 online as some of the favorite teams in Bloodline Champions came out to battle for a secured spot into the Grand Finals on June 4th, 2011.

With [Haem No Idea] taking first in the third qualifier, we had a fresh chance for some fantastic teams to take the last spot as 16 teams battled it out for supremecy.

Big teams signed up this week, and not to be underestimated, we had some returning favorites of [Sweethearts] [Team Dignitas] [Seeking for Perfection] [Blue] and [Question Marks]. The matchups in the first round yielded some surprising results, as [Seeking for Perfection] was shot down by [Click it] and the new entry of [Bugmon] taking out [Mudbutt].

Surprisingly enough, in the Quarter Finals, [Bugmon] defeated [Sweethearts] with Team Captain mulkmulkmulk playing an impressive Thorn. The GotKunju team of [Nice Boat] had to lay down their swords to [Team Dignitas]; the experience difference in tournaments was just too great for them to hande. An impressive showing from [Blue] knocked out [Question Marks], as yet again Mushashii would have to retire in the Quarter Finals. Last but not least [Click it] was feeling good after their victory over [Seeking For Perfection], but lost at the hands of Presto in [Virtual Men].

In the Semi Finals, the might of the Thorn was crushed beneath the weight of the Vanguard Skrff as [Team Dignitas] moved on to the Finals, and [Blue] made it look all too easy to take out [Virtual Men], and thus we have the big heavy weight competition of [Team Dignitas] vs [Blue] for the Finals matchup. And what a matchup it was! Ultimately however, the Stalker skills of [Blue] were able to outweigh the turtling advantage of [Team Dignitas] and [Blue] was crowned as the 4th and final qualifer for the Grand Finals coming up on June 4th, 2011.

But wait! As a super secret announcement, there's to be a Last Chance qualifer on Thursday June 2nd 2011 and that both [Blue] and [Team Dignitas] are both moving on to the Grand Finals!

An exciting cup this week, and now we have five of the eight contestants chosen from those Grand Finals. With a $5,000 prize pool thanks to all the sponsors (Justin.tv, Qpad, Thermaltake, Stunlock Studios), the competition is heating up and I am eagerly awaiting the results come June 4th when everyone gets to go head to head.

As always, the videos of the event are now live on the FourCourtJester youtube channel , and you can find me regularly updating my Twitter as well when streams go live and with periodic updates.
