With the newly crowned [Sk-Gaming] now in the top 8 finishers alongside rivals [Orz], we had a fresh chance for some fantastic teams to take the third spot as 16 teams battled it out for supremecy.

The big matchup right off the bat was the pairing of pro team [Zowie Gear] and the #1 team on the ladder [Seeking For Perfection]. Now, viewers out there with sharp eyes on the BLC scene would have noticed the absence of [Seeking For Perfection] over the last few weeks, and boy did that not work out in their favor as [Zowie Gear] cleared them off the roster to move on.

This week we had the introduction of [Haem No Idea], a top team in the finishings of the Kill the King tournaments, and they got to take on a now three-time competing [Two Gluttons One Alchemist]. Pandrum and Zab were too much for the team to handle as they went down, and speaking of three-time competing teams, [Blue] returned to take out Mushashii's new team [Question Marks] to move onto the Semi Finals.

New team [Renegades] had the unfortunate luck to face off against [Sweethearts] in the Quarter Finals, with [Sweethearts] coming out on top and [Zowie Gear] forfeit their match to [YeaYea] as they had to step out.

To start off the Semi Finals [Haem No Idea] crushed [Blue] (who has made it to the Semi Finals twice now) while a very strong showing from [YeaYea] completely dominated [Sweethearts]. Now with two behemoth teams ready to go, the last Best of Three round was quite a doozy, but [Haem No Idea] pulled it off and was crowned as the champion for Qualifier Cup #3!

An exciting cup this week, and now we have three of the eight contestants chosen from those Grand Finals. With a $5,000 prize pool thanks to all the sponsors (Justin.tv, Qpad, Thermaltake, Stunlock Studios), the competition is heating up and I am eagerly awaiting the results come June 4th when everyone gets to go head to head.

As always, the videos of the event are now live on the FourCourtJester youtube channel , and you can find me regularly updating my Twitter as well when streams go live and with periodic updates.
