Borderlands 2 will have four new player characters:
- Axton(Commando) - A general combat proficient character with the ability to deploy an automated turret.
- Maya(Siren) - A woman with the ability to Phaselock her enemies and control the flow of battle.
- Salvador(Gunzerker) - A brute force master of mayhem with the ability to enter a berserk rampage armed with a gun in each meaty hand.
- Zer0(Assassin) - A mysterious individual equipped for deadly precision attacks, Zer0 can deploy a decoy and fade from sight.
Also a 5th class (Mechromancer) will be available with a pre-order or after release as DLC.

This actually made me a bit excited about a Call of Duty game again. I mean, for once they're trying to freshen up this series, jump it forward in time, cool weapons and gadgets, semi-RTS missions, ways that failing certain missions will have an effect on your end result rather than just failing you.... This will have to be pretty spectacular though

I just cant see a way, from what we've heard so far, for this game to compete with the other MMOs that are coming out soon. Its sad really, why not just make Skyrim with co-op? Thats what everyone wanted!
